To My Readers
There once were, and still are, three sisters.
They loved many things. Among the most precious to them was art. It mattered not the medium; the sisters saw the expression of one’s heart in the arts, the ability to tell a story timeless.
Over time their family grew. In each generation, the sisters were a source of inspiration, instilling passion for embracing all that life has to offer.
The sisters have gone by many names to those who know and love them: mother; grandmother; aunt; friend; beloved. Their last names, too, have evolved over time. But before all else, they were, and still are, the Solomon sisters.
I hope, in taking their name, to help honor for all of time these wondrous women and the passion they have for life and love in all things. The passion that they instilled in me, as their grandchild and grandnephew.
I dedicate each page I have penned to them.
